Nite Spice Indian Restaurant
Newly opened restaurant Nite Spice, specialising in Indian cuisine, looks to be an instant hit in Manukau Heights.
Contemporary, affordable and offering both good food and good service, this city smart venue in Everglade Drive is just what the area needs. With little available to serve the residential areas of Goodwood Heights, Totara Heights and surrounding areas, Nite Spice has found a niche in the market and seems to have accurately assessed what was needed locally.
To this end the tables are dressed with white linen and sparkling glassware. Muted tones of dove grey, ivory and a touch of taupe contrast with the rich timber bar and, as a concession to the restaurant’s ethnicity, there are three or four magnificent, framed, embroidered artworks from India. These throw a dash of subtle colour into the décor. Staff members – smartly attired in black and white – are eager to please and willingly explain menu items.
