For all those on the North Shore, Café Melba now have fantastic new premises on Hurstmere Road in Takapuna.

Melba is one of the few cafes in Auckland that could be called an institution. The original cafe in Vulcan Lane has changed little over the last decade.

It’s the kind of place both locals and tourists have always felt very comfortable visiting.

The service has always been fast and friendly and the food tasty and reasonably priced. The coffee has always been especially good even more so now with the launch of the Melba Espresso brand.

Opening Hours

• Monday to Friday: 7.00am to 4.00pm (Kitchen closes at 3.00pm)
• Saturday and Sunday: 8.00am to 4.00pm (Kitchen closes at 3.00pm)
