Such a great place! We are regulars here and it’s because the food is consistently delicious and the staff are so friendly every time we come in, we always have a lovely experience.
Certainly the best of Auckland’s Malaysian restaurants – indeed, the only truely Malaysian restaurant in town. A first-class team of chefs prepare a first-class array of dishes: the Beef Rendang, Ayam Kapitan and re-fried Beans are all superb. Roy, the owner, is a product of Malaysia’s ‘haute cuisine’ style, and will explain the make-up, provenance and rationale of any dish on the menu, including a few that aren’t; and he is very capably supported on the restaurant floor by a group of willing and friendly serving staff. My New York (55th St) friends thought it was a great experience.
