The Veranda Bar and Grill (VBG) has been one of Auckland’s leading fine dining restaurants for more than twenty years enjoying a reputation for excellent service, and delicious high quality food.

Set in an old coach-house which was originally built in the 1880’s, the restaurant has a high ceiling with rough-hewn beams and polished wood floors, retaining the character of the original building.

With silver service and subtle candle lighting, VBG has an intimate and relaxed feel allowing diners to enjoy the overall atmosphere of the venue.

Large groups information

The private VBG Lounge accommodates up to 30 for fine dining and 80 people for cocktail parties in privacy, while offering the same standard of food and service as the main restaurant. The lounge is fully self-contained and has its own private entrance, bar, dining room, lounge with open fire, separate kitchen, and cloakrooms. There is a connecting door to the main bar if more room is required for dancing.

It is a popular venue for group dinners, parties of all types, presentations and launches, weddings, through to end of project or end of year business celebrations.
