Owner Eduardo Sequeiros who was born in Lima – Peru , wanted to provide New Zealanders with something different, exotic and delicious. To complete his Peruvian restaurant, Eduardo imported a charcoal oven along with other exotic spices, essential for the mouth watering Peruvian style charcoal chicken and other preparations. And soon, Eduardo’s vision opened its doors to the public in January 2005. Super Pollo is the first Peruvian restaurant specialising in charcoal cooked chicken, in New Zealand

You will always find a different traditional Peruvian dish on Sundays, and entertainment all week with Latin American salsa and DVDs playing at all times. The atmosphere is unique; Peruvian Inca art work and paintings decorate the walls making the eat in experience a virtual trip to The Andes.
