About The Station Cafe & Function Centre
The Station Cafe & Function Centre (the building originally being the old Hamilton Railway Station), was moved to the picturesque University grounds in the early 1970’s and beautifully restored. Our enchanting garden area adds to the benefit of relaxed surroundings.
The Station is open as a café Mon-Friday from 7.30 am-3.30 pm and provides morning teas, lunches, afternoon teas as well as booked breakfast and dinner groups. We have a large range of hot dishes and trendy café foods with cakes, sandwiches etc to please the palate. We have specialty coffees and a large range of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available all day. On a Friday afternoon after closing the café, we keep the bar open until 7.30pm, which proves popular with the regulars.
