Dalziel has given the thumbs up to a graphical smiley face rating system for showing how clean and healthy a restaurant’s food handling procedures are. The smiley spectrum ranges from lunatic grin through to chronic depression, including all the nuanced stages in between such as quizzical and slightly pissed off.

Why don’t they just get it over with and publicly smack and ground owners for 3 weeks without television?

Apparently the enthusiasm for the idea is because the same system has already worked so well in Denmark. Is that the same Denmark famous for such brilliant cultural contributions to the world as Tango Jalousie & Champagne Galop?

Lianne Dalziel said this system would be good for customers who did not speak English. Perhaps little rows of cochroaches on spikes outside offending shops would be more helpful. Or how about hidden pits with spikes just inside the doorway?
