The Francoli Bar & Restaurant is a popular bar and restaurant in the heart of Ellerslie, Auckland. Best gourmet pizza’s in town, with live sport on big screens. Great function venue with large sunny deck.
Apparently the Francoli family are one of Italy’s best known and most well respected producers of grappa, and there are eight different varieties on offer including hard-to-find variations made from müller thurgau grapes—last seen in good old Blenheimer—and sweet muscato grapes—think dessert wine but stronger.
Black and white pictures of the Francoli family decorate the walls and they seem a happy enough bunch. It must be all that product testing.
